Using RFID for Inventory

Navigate to the RFID Actions Menu
Choose Audit/Move/Promote
Select the Audit Type (Plant or Packages) and Location/Zones
Press Start Audit
Squeeze the trigger on the RFID scanner
Review Results (Expected, Found, Missing, Excess)
Save Audit

Move or Promote Plants
Navigate to the RFID Actions Menu
Choose Audit/Move/Promote
Select the Audit Type (Plant or Packages) and Location/Zones
Press Start Audit
Squeeze the trigger on the RFID scanner
Save Audit
Choose RFID Action Move/Promote

Destroy Plants
Navigate to the RFID Actions Menu
Choose Destroy
Press Add Plants
Squeeze the trigger on the RFID scanner pointed at tags
Input Destroy info
Press Next Plant
Once complete press "Send Destroys to Trym"

Using RFID for Harvesting
Imagine this: you hang a plant on the scale, the RFID reader captures the tag number, while the Bluetooth scale records the weight. Hang plant after plant without any interaction with Trym, scale, or RFID reader until you complete the harvest. Then, with a couple clicks you send your data to Metrc.
Navigate to the RFID Actions Menu
Choose the Harvest option
Input Harvest Details
Press "Create Harvest"
Review Harvest Details and "Add Plants"
Squeeze the trigger on the RFID scanner pointed at Tag or Choose "Automatically Scan Tags" to just put a tag in front of the scanning device.
Review Harvest Details and "Send Harvest to Trym Explore".

Setting Ranges
To set your Power Range in the App:
From your preferred RFID action screen when you are at the screen to scan plants, locate the "((o))" sonar button in the top left and click on it.
This provides the "Power Level" screen, where you can toggle between 0-100% distance range up to 23 feet.
This can be used to locate and scan tags near range or long range depending on your needs.
Reset RFID Scanner
To reset or turn the TSL 1128 on/off, you will need to remove the battery from the device. This will allow the scanner to be shut off or reset by removing and replacing the battery as the device has no on/off switch.

To remove the battery:
Lift up on the yellow switch on the back of the scanner and simultaneously pull the handle away from the top portion of the scanner.
Then find the clip at the bottom of the yellow switch that was used to remove the handle and pull the plastic tab away from the yellow switch. That will remove the battery cover.
Then lean the scanner on its side or upside down so the battery is loosened and or removed from the battery port.
Since the device is now off, you can put the battery back in the port and reassemble the scanner.
