Overview of Reporting Plant Waste
Trym allows you to report Pre-Harvest Plant waste classified as material removed from plants prior to harvest in a couple easy steps.
This includes Immature plant destruction weight and defoliation of Untagged Plants (Immature) and Tagged Plants (Mother, Vegetative, Flowering).
Reporting Plant Waste for Untagged Plants
When plant batches are in the immature growth phase and exist under a single plant tag per batch you can report waste and destroy the plants easily using the instructions below:
Log in to the Trym mobile app
Use the Rooms menu to navigate to the room you're reporting waste in
Tap Grow Log and then the + button on the bottom right of your app
Choose "Record Untagged Plant Waste"
Enter the waste log details in the various fields
-
Click "Report waste to Trym" when satisfied with the waste details
When untagged plant waste is recorded, it will generate an event per batch in your compliance tab. Please see immature plant destruction instructions here.
Reporting Plant Waste for Tagged Plants
When plants in a location are tagged (Mother/Vegetative/Flowering) you can report defoliation waste using the instructions below:
Log in to the Trym mobile app
Use the Rooms menu to navigate to the room you're reporting waste in
Tap Grow Log and then the + button on the bottom right of your app
Choose "Record Tagged Plant Waste"
Enter the waste log details in the various fields
Click "Report waste to Trym" when satisfied with the waste details
When tagged plant waste is recorded, the total waste weight is recorded and source batches listed on a compliance event in your compliance tab.
If you are destroying mature/tagged plants prior to harvest then the destroy event taken in Trym will allow a weight per plant on each destroy. To review destroy plants in Trym see this article here.
