What are Measurements in Trym
Measurements in Trym are the best way to catalogue your environmental conditions, plant root zone data and visual plant attributes to enhance the overall view of your crop steering agenda. You can review these measurements in Trym's Grow Log.
How to Record Measurements in Trym
Record a Measurement by Scanning a Plant Tag
Log into the Trym Mobile Grow App
Tap the ☰ menu in the top left corner and choose Tag Scanner ^
Scan the Tag you want to assign a measurement to
Choose the Measurement option from the top screen tool bar
Select your Measurement Type or Add Measurement Type*
Enter your Measurement and Zone, choose Create for each

Once all data is input, press Create Measurement
^ You can use the Zebra 2D Barcode Scanner as well as RFID Tag Scanner integrated into Trym to scan tags and leave measurements as well.

Record a Measurement in a Location in the Mobile App
We allow you to track measurements in Trym's Grow Log in the Trym Mobile Grow App by following the instructions below:
Log into the Trym Mobile Grow App
Tap the ☰ menu in the top left corner and choose Rooms
Select the location you are recording a measurement in
Choose the Grow Log option
Click the "+" sign in the bottom right and select Create Measurement
Select your Measurement Type or Add Measurement Type*
Enter your Measurement and Zone, choose Create for each
Once all data is input, press Create Measurement

Record a Measurement via a Task in the Mobile App
Tap the ☰ menu in the top left corner and tap Tasks
We show whatever tasks are assigned to the logged in user by default but they can use the Day, Month menus to navigate days, the My Tasks, All Tasks icons to find tasks assigned to different users, and if you manage multiple facilities use the Facilities selector in the top right corner to switch between facilities
Tap the measurement task you'd like to start
Review the task instruction and press the Start Task button to begin the task when ready
Ensure you record the measurement, it is a completion requirement for measurement tasks

When ready, complete the task. Trym will display the recorded time and you can edit it if needed

Q: Where can I view my Measurements
View Measurements in Grow Log
1) Trym login defaults to your Grow Log
2) If you are on a different tab, select the Grow Log tab
3) Choose the filter option
4) Select Measurements
View Measurements per location
1) Log into Trym Explore
2) Go to your Facilities Tab
3) Select the room you want to view Measurements
4) Scroll down to the Measurements graph
Q: How can I filter my Measurements?
A: To filter your measurements, first follow the View Measurements instructions listed above. Then select from the 7 Day, 14 Day, 30 Day, 90 Day or Year time frame options, from which you can then filter through the Measurements Types in the drop down menu to the right of the time frame selections.
Q: How can I add a Measurement Type
1) Log into the Trym Mobile Grow App
2) Go to your Rooms Tab
3) Select the room you are recording a measurement in
4) Choose the Grow Log option
5) Click the "+" sign in the bottom right and select Create Measurement
6) Select + Add Measurement Type option
7) Enter Measurement Name, Unit Of Measure. and Description
8) Click Save Measurement Type
Q: Can I Add Multiple Measurements at once?
Yes, you can add multiple measurements per record by selecting multiple Measurement Types when asked to select a Measurement Type. This will create individual measurements in your grow log, but you can easily catalogue them at once if its for the same plant or location.
