Planting Date: The date the batch was created
Room: The location the plants will be in
Zone: The area of the location plants will be in
Workflow: The tasking workflow applied to the batch (Optional)

To stream line batch creation batch entry details further please review our form defaults to lower the amount of required fields during batch creation.
Batch Creation Options
Regardless of your the source of your batch, you can use the instructions below to configure the amount of batches from each source. Each batch will auto populate the cultivar from the source plant or package, auto populate the estimated harvest date 90 days from the planting date (unless you choose a different estimated harvest date in that entry field), and the Batch Name will auto populate from the date of batch creation and cultivar attached to the source plant or package.

Source ID entry is not needed if creating a batch from a source like a plant or package, only from the "add batch" option will entering the source ID be needed. If you change the source type or source tag type from plant to package or seed to clone the source ID will be cleared and you will want to enter the source ID again or choose your source again to resolve.
To remove a source or batch from your batch creation window or a batch from a source you can use the trash can icon to remove that source or batch
Select multiple package sources from your inventory tab by clicking each available package source checkbox to have all package sources populated in the same window instead of adding plant sources with the + if all batches are created from packages.

Troubleshooting
-
If the continue button is grey and you cannot click on it to confirm starting tags make sure a cultivar and plant quantity are entered on the batch when the Continue button is greyed out.
If you receive a "No available actions for this selection" make sure all packages selected are packages of clones as the item type as a package of flower or finished product can block the ability to create multiple sources from valid packages items (clone).

Creating batches in Oklahoma differences:
-
On 09/13, METRC notified users in Oklahoma of an update to the process of creating immature plant batches that would become effective 09/19. The communication from METRC can be reviewed in Bulletin OK_IB_0041.
Before the change, immature plant batches were created from a tagged plant, typically a mom in the vegetative phase. Easy.
As of 9/19, the process has been changed to include creating a package of immature plants from the mom, and then creating an immature plant batch later.
Important: Make sure to package from a plant in a batch and not the batch specifically. This can be achieved by clicking on the batch name and then clicking on a plant's checkbox in the active plant ID list, then pressing the "package" option.
