Harvesting by batch is only viable in Metrc integrated facilities in states that allow batch harvesting as well as Non-Metrc integrated facilities.
If you do not see the harvest option when multiple flowering batches are selected you may have chosen harvest batches of multiple cultivars and your state most likely does not allow multi-strain harvest batches.

Best Practices for Touchless Harvesting
RFID
Setting Power level to 1% during harvest saves power on the Scanner and will allow for the longest duration possible on that charges battery life.
Set your range between 1 -10% for a harvest depending on how confined the harvest station is in proximity to other tags in the room will ensure accuracy.
Mounting your tag scanner and setting the Mobile App to Automatically Scan Tags will save time in the process as you will not have to manually trigger the scanner to scan individual tags.
Mobile Tag Scanner
Mount your mobile device using a gooseneck tablet mount and position it so the back-facing camera is approximately 1-foot from a light surface, like a white wall
Place a piece of blue painter's tape on the wall where it lines up with the Trym app to help you align the tags easier - you won't have to remember where to put the tags each time you want to scan
Use the audio cues to know when to remove the plants from the scale
Tag your plants with the zip tie on the far end of the Metrc tag so it doesn't get in the way of the scanner
Use shorter time period between plant scans (1 sec)
Reference the cheat sheet listed below for a scanning visualization.
Weighing with the Scale
Get an 8" S-Hook to extend the clearance from the bottom of the scale - make sure to use zip-ties to fasten it to the scale's hook
Make sure the scale is high enough above the rack to accommodate plant heights
Place a bin at the bottom of the rack to collect debris
The process is most efficient with a team of two. One person to hang the plant/scan the tag. And the other to remove the plant and place in the bin to go to the drying room. The second person makes a huge difference.
Taking a Break Mid-Harvest
If you need to break or stop the harvest for the day, choose the Save button in the upper right hand of the harvest screen to save the harvest onto the device. You can then choose the saved harvest to resume when ready.
Make sure to resume the harvest on the device it was saved on as the harvest is local to that device until it sent off the device to Trym Explore.

Tag Errors in Touchless Harvesting
Different Cultivar
Explanation
This plant belongs is a different cultivar/strain than the harvest you set up
Possible Reasons
If this happens to the first plant you scanned, it's possible that the harvest was set up manually and an incorrect cultivar was chosen
If this happens after your first plant. Maybe you had multiple strains in the same location and someone accidentally harvested a plant they weren't meant to? It's a good idea to scan the next few tags to see if this has happened to multiple plants
-
If Strains were changed in METRC, we may not have gotten a change to sync those changes back to Trym just yet. Please review of our Sync Article for more context.
Tag not Found
Explanation
The tag you scanned was not found at the facility you're harvesting at
Possible Reasons
If plants were promoted in METRC to a tagged phase just prior to harvest, we may not have gotten the opportunity to sync in your changes to Trym. Please reference our Sync Article for more context.
If your grow is outdoors and your fields are close to each other it's possible that a plant from another license was harvested. You'll want to check the next few tags that were harvested to uncover an error from the field team as early as possible
-
Verify that the tag number being read by Trym matches the number on the tag, if the lighting isn't right or the barcode is damaged or obscured it could be misreading the numbers.
Duplicate Tag
Explanation
This tag was already scanned in this harvest
Possible Reasons
Maybe it's time for a break, huh?
Something Went Wrong
Explanation
An unexpected error occurred - we hadn't planned for this one.
Possible Reasons
Something unexpected happened. Try again!
Contact the Trym support team if the issue persists, there's a chat function available in the Trym grow app settings. Use a different device than the one you're using to harvest so we can work things out live without hindering your harvest.
