What are METRC Tags

METRC tags are used to track plants and packages in METRC and Trym. Each Tag contains a Unique Identifier or Tag number. METRC integrated customers must upload a list of active/voided METRC tags after receiving new tags or after tags are voided in METRC.

How to upload METRC tags to Trym

1. Log into your Metrc account

2. Click on the Admin Menu at the top and select Tag Orders.

3. Under the Current tab, find the relevant tag order, and press the receive button. If you have multiple tag orders and are unsure which you should be receiving, speak to a colleague in the know or contact our support team.

4. Once received, click on the Admin menu at the top and select Tags

5. Click on the Available tab and then click on the Export Data to file button located in the top right corner of the tags table and download Excel file. Reference image available below.

6. Click on the Voided tab and download the excel file if there are any voided tags listed.

7. Log into explore.trym.io

8. Click on the Compliance tab on the left hand side, select the correct facility if managing more than one, and click on the METRC Tags button located in the top left of this page.

9. Click on the upload button and one at a time upload the list of active tags first, then upload the list of voided tags
