Generating a new API Key will sever your API integration with other integrators and is not necessary when integrating with a new integrator, such as Trym. The same API can be shared with many integrators. Proceed with purpose if you have active integrations.

No need to select a license, your API key is specific to your user account and not to a facility

Click on the down arrow next to your email address in the top right corner

If you have previously generated an API key, wait a few seconds for it to appear or generate a key if you have not done so previously.

<i>Triple </i>click the API key to select it, then right-click on the key and copy it

1. Log into your METRC account
2. No need to select a license, your API key is specific to your user account and not to a facility
3. Click on the down arrow next to your email address in the top right corner
4. Click API Keys
5. If you have previously generated an API key, wait a few seconds for it to appear or generate a key if you have not done so previously.
6. <i>Triple </i>click the API key to select it, then right-click on the key and copy it

Users who need to report compliance events from Trym to METRC will need to associate a METRC API key to their Trym user account.
